Security rights in fruits and proceeds of assets that are subject to an acquisition finance device or are covered by VIII. — 5:204 (Additional provisions as to proprietary security rights) paragraph (3) do not enjoy the superpriority of the security right in the assets that were originally encumbered.

(2)

The preceding paragraph does not affect the superpriority of security rights in:

(a)

rights to payment due to defects in, damage to, or loss of the assets that were originally encumbered, including insurance proceeds; and

(b)

proceeds of the sale of the assets that were originally encumbered.
