Priority is not affected if the encumbered asset:

(a): becomes an accessory to a movable asset; or
(b): is used for the production of new goods, or is commingled or combined with other assets, provided that the security right extends to the security provider's rights in the asset resulting from the production, commingling or combination.

Paragraph (1)(a) also applies if a movable asset becomes an accessory to an immovable, unless the law governing the immovable determines otherwise.
