2 | Ratificatie door Denemarken onder de volgende verklaring: The period of three months shall be calculated from the date of entry into any Nordic State being a Party to the Convention of 12 July 1957 on the Waiver of passport control at the Inter-Nordic frontiers. Any sojourn in any of those States during the six months preceding the entry into any of those States from a Non-Nordic State shall be included in the above period of three months. The leader of the party shall possess two additional copies of the collective passport, one of which to be handed to the passport control authority at the place of entry into the Nordic passport control area and the other one to be handed to the passport control authority at the place of exit from the same area. Each person included in a collective passport must carry an individual identity card bearing a photograph. For the purpose of admission to and stay in Denmark and subject to reciprocity, the provisions of the Agreement are hereby extended to young refugees and young stateless persons lawfully resident in the territory of another Contracting Party, subject to the following conditions:

Ratificatie door Frankrijk onder de volgende verklaring: At the time of signature, the Government of the French Republic declares, in respect of Article 12, that proof of identity may be furnished by any legal means; At the time of signature, the Government of the French Republic declares, in respect of Article 13, that it will extend the provisions of the Agreement to young refugees and young stateless persons in accordance with the terms of this Article. . |
4 | Griekenland heeft op 15-06-1965 de volgende verklaring afgelegd: On 16 December 1961, Greece signed the European Agreement of the same date relating to travel by young persons on collective passports. As no reservation was made at that time in respect of Article 13 of the Agreement, the Greek Government considers the declaration provided for in that Article to have been made implicitly as regards the extension of the Agreement to young refugees and stateless persons. In testimony whereof, it formally confirms that declaration today. . |
5 | Ratificatie door Ierland onder de volgende verklaring: in respect of Article 11, one additional copy of the collective passport will be required if the party is not composed solely of nationals of the Contracting Party which issues the document. in respect of Article 12, young persons aged 16 years or over must be in possession of an official identity document bearing a photograph (e.g. an identity card, driving licence, certificate of nationality for travel purposes or a passport which has expired not more than three years previously). Alternatively, a photograph, certified by the leader of the party, the organisers of the party or an official authority should be firmly affixed to the collective passport opposite the name of the individual whom it concerns. in respect of Article 13, the Irish Government is prepared to extend the provisions of the Agreement to young stateless persons lawfully resident in the territory of another Contracting Party subject to the following conditions:

Ratificatie door Italië onder de volgende verklaring: The Government of Italy declares that, in respect of Article 1, the field of application of the Agreement and the reference to persons who shall benefit from it shall be expressly limited to the countries with which the need for entry visas has been abolished. The Government of Italy declares that, in respect of Article 12, members of groups travelling under the collective passport will have to prove their personal identity by means of an official document of some kind bearing a photograph. . 10 | Toetreding door Malta onder de volgende verklaring: The Malta authorities will require each person aged sixteen years or over who travels in a party using a collective passport covered by this Agreement to be in possession of an official identity document bearing a photograph (e.g. an identity card, driving licence, certificate of nationality for travel purposes or a passport which has expired not more than three years previously) or, alternatively, a certified photograph of each such member to be affixed to the collective passport opposite his or her name. These photographs may be certified by the organising body or by the leader of the party and, after they have been affixed to the collective passport, must be stamped by the authority issuing this travel document in such a way that the photograph cannot be removed and replaced by another. It would also be of considerable assistance to the Malta immigration authorities if young persons under the age of sixteen years travelling in parties using a collective passport could carry with them some sort of official identity document, but this is not essential. . |

It would also be of considerable assistance to the United Kingdom immigration authorities if young persons under the age of sixteen years travelling in parties using a collective passport could carry with them some sort of official identity document, but this is not essential. . Ratificatie door het Verenigd Koninkrijk onder de volgende verklaring: The ratification is in respect of the United Kingdom, Jersey, the Bailiwick of Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar and the State of Malta only. At the time of ratification the Government of the United Kingdom hereby declare, with reference to Article 11 of the Agreement, that one additional copy of the collective passport will be required if the party is not composed solely of nationals of the Contracting Party which issues the document. The Government of the United Kingdom further declare, with reference to Article 12 of the Agreement, that the authorities of the United Kingdom, Jersey, the Bailiwick of Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar and the State of Malta will require each person aged sixteen years or over who travels in a party using a collective passport covered by the Agreement to be in possession of an official identity document bearing a photograph (e.g. an identity card, driving licence, certificate of nationality for travel purposes or a passport which has expired not more than three years previously) or, alternatively, a certified photograph of each such member to be affixed to the Collective passport opposite his or her name. The Government of the United Kingdom finally declare, with reference to Article 13 of the Agreement, that, for the purpose of admission to and stay in the United Kingdom, Jersey, the Bailiwick of Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar, and subject to reciprocity, the provisions of the Agreement are hereby extended to young refugees and young stateless persons lawfully resident in the territory of another Contracting Party, subject to the following conditions:

18 | Toetreding door de Voormalige Joegoslavische Republiek Macedonië onder de volgende verklaring: On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, I declare that the Government of the Republic Macedonia agrees with the provisions of the European Agreement on Travel by Young Persons on Collective Passports between the Member Countries of the Council of Europe, opened for signature on 16 December 1961. The ratification procedure before the competent organs of the Republic of Macedonia shall be initiated puruant to Article 68, subparagraph 6, of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia and Article 14 of the Agreement. We consider that with this instrument the Republic of Macedonia becomes a signatory State to the European Agreement on Travel by Young Persons on Collective Passports between the Member Countries of the Council of Europe. At the same time we should like to declare our readiness to sign directly the above mentioned Agreement as soon as possible. . |
