If an obligation is not performed by the debtor and the non-performance is not excused, the creditor may resort to any of the remedies set out in this Chapter.
(2)
If the debtor's non-performance is excused, the creditor may resort to any of those remedies except enforcing specific performance and damages.

The creditor may not resort to any of those remedies to the extent that the creditor caused the debtor's non-performance
