Subject to the obligations of a trustee under this Book and exceptions provided for by other rules, the trustees are free to determine whether, when and how the exercise of their powers and discretions is best suited to performing their obligations under the trust.
(2)
Except in so far as the trust terms or other rules provide otherwise, the trustees are not bound by, and are not to regard themselves as bound by, any directions or wishes of any of the parties to the trust or other persons.
(3)
The trustees are not obliged to disclose the reasons for the exercise of their discretion unless the trust is for the advancement of a public benefit purpose or the trust terms provide otherwise.
