Bekrachtiging door Frankrijk onder de verklaring dat de Overeenkomst van toepassing is op het gehele grondgebied van de Franse Republiek.

Ondertekening door het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden onder de volgende verklaring:

En ce qui concerne le Royaume des Pays Bas, les termes ‘Territoire métropolitain’ et ‘Territoires extramétropolitains’, utilisés dans le texte de la Convention, signifient, vu l'égalité qui existe au point de vue du droit public entre les Pays Bas, le Surinam et les Antilles néerlandaises, ‘Territoire européen’ et ‘Territoires non-européens’.

Op 05-10-2010 heeft het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden de volgende verklaring afgelegd:

With regard to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the terms ‘metropolitan territories’ and ‘non-metropolitan territories’ used in the text of the Convention, will, in view of the equality from the point of view of public law between the Netherlands and the Netherlands Antilles, consequently be deemed to mean ‘European territory’ and ‘non-European territories’.

Bekrachtiging door het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden onder het voorbehoud dat ‘… une légitimation qui satisfait aux dispositions internes de la loi nationale du père ou de la mère ne sera néanmoins pas tenue pour valable aux Pays-Bas et aux Antilles néerlandaises si l'une des parties au mariage qui a pour conséquence la légitimation est ressortissant néerlandais et si, dans le territoire concerné du Royaume, ledit mariage n'a pas été célébré devant l'officier de l'Etat civil, ou si, dans un pays étranger, ledit mariage n'a pas été célébré selon la loi de ce pays.’.

Bekrachtiging door Oostenrijk onder het volgende voorbehoud:

La République d'Autriche déclare, en application de l'article 2, qu'elle se réserve le droit de ne pas tenir la légitimation pour valable:

a)

s'il est établi que l'enfant n'est pas né de ceux qui l'ont légitimé;

b)

si la loi autrichienne ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage célébré sur le territoire autrichien;

c)

si la loi autrichienne ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage d'un ressortissant autrichien.

The Republic of Austria declares, pursuant to article 2, that it reserves the right to refuse to treat the legitimation as valid:

(a)

if it is established that the child is not in fact the child of the persons who have legitimated him or her;

(b)

if the marriage was celebrated on Austrian territory and Austrian law does not recognise the validity thereof;

(c)

if an Austrian national was a party to the marriage and Austrian law does not recognise the validity thereof.

Bekrachtiging door Turkije onder het volgende voorbehoud:

La République Turque déclare, aux termes de l'article 2, alinéas a, b et c, qu'elle se réserve le droit de ne pas tenir la légitimation pour valable:

a)

s'il est établi que l'enfant n'est pas né de ceux qui l'ont légitimé;

b)

si la loi turque ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage célébré sur le territoire turc;

c)

si la loi turque ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage d'un ressortissant turc.

Ondertekening door Italië onder de volgende verklaring:

La République Italienne déclare aux termes de l'article 13, qu'elle ne s'engage pas à appliquer les dispositions du Titre premier de la présente Convention.

The Italian Republic declares, pursuant to article 13, that it does not undertake to apply the provisions of section I of this convention.

Griekenland heeft op 22-01-1987 een kennisgeving gedaan als bedoeld in artikel 11, eerste alinea, van de Overeenkomst, onder bevestiging van de volgende bij de ondertekening gemaakte voorbehouden:

Le Royaume de Grèce déclare, aux termes de l'article 2, qu'il se réserve le droit de ne pas tenir la légitimation pour valable:

a)

s'il est établi que l'enfant n'est pas né de ceux qui l'ont légitimé;

b)

si la loi grecque ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage célébré sur le territoire grec;

c)

si la loi grecque ne reconnaît pas la validité du mariage célébré par un ressortissant grec.

The Hellenic Republic declares, pursuant to article 2, that it reserves the right to refuse to treat the legitimation as valid:

(a)

if it is established that the child is not in fact the child of the persons who have legitimated him or her;

(b)

if the marriage was celebrated on Greek territory and Greek law does not recognise the validity thereof;

(b)

if an Greek national was a party to the marriage and Greek law does not recognise the validity thereof.

Italië heeft op 06-07-1978 een kennisgeving gedaan als bedoeld in artikel 11, eerste alinea, van de Overeenkomst, onder een voorbehoud.
