The borrower is obliged to pay interest or any other kind of remuneration according to the terms of the contract.
(2)
If the contract does not specify the interest payable, interest is payable unless both parties are consumers.
(3)
Interest accrues day by day from the date the borrower takes up the monetary loan or makes use of the overdraft facility but is payable at the end of the loan period or annually, whichever occurs earlier.
(4)
Interest payable according to the preceding paragraph is added to the outstanding capital every 12 months.
