(1)
The involvement in the supply of the service of other persons on the client's behalf or the mere competence of the client does not relieve the information provider of the duties under this Chapter.
(2)
The information provider is relieved of those duties if the client already has knowledge of the information or if the client has reason to know of the information.
(3)
For the purpose of paragraph (2), the client has ‘reason to know’ if the information would be obvious to a comparable client in the same situation as this client from all the unusual facts and circumstances known to the client without investigation.
