Where goods supplied under a consumer contract for sale are incorrectly installed, any lack of conformity resulting from the incorrect installation is regarded as a lack of conformity of the goods if:
- (a)
the goods were installed by the seller or under the seller's responsibility; or
- (b)
the goods were intended to be installed by the consumer and the incorrect installation was due to a shortcoming in the installation instructions.
