Each Party shall take the necessary legislative or other measures to ensure that the following intentional conduct is criminalised:
- a)
recruiting a child into prostitution or causing a child to participate in prostitution;
- b)
coercing a child into prostitution or profiting from or otherwise exploiting a child for such purposes;
- c)
having recourse to child prostitution.
2.
For the purpose of the present article, the term ‘child prostitution’ shall mean the fact of using a child for sexual activities where money or any other form of remuneration or consideration is given or promised as payment, regardless if this payment, promise or consideration is made to the child or to a third person.
