These rules are intended to be used primarily in relation to contracts and other juridical acts, contractual and non-contractual rights and obligations and related property matters.
(2)
They are not intended to be used, or used without modification or supplementation, in relation to rights and obligations of a public law nature or, except where otherwise provided, in relation to:
- (a)
the status or legal capacity of natural persons;
- (b)
wills and succession;
- (c)
family relationships, including matrimonial and similar relationships;
- (d)
bills of exchange, cheques and promissory notes and other negotiable instruments;
- (e)
employment relationships;
- (f)
the ownership of, or rights in security over, immovable property;
- (g)
the creation, capacity, internal organisation, regulation or dissolution of companies and other bodies corporate or unincorporated;
- (h)
matters relating primarily to procedure or enforcement.
