The assignment of a right to performance transfers to the assignee not only the primary right but also all accessory rights and transferable supporting security rights.
(2)
Where the assignment of a right to performance of a contractual obligation is associated with the substitution of the assignee as debtor in respect of any obligation owed by the assignor under the same contract, this Article takes effect subject to III. — 5:302 (Transfer of contractual position).
