If and as long as a negotiable document of title covers goods, a security right in the document covers also the goods.

For negotiable instruments, a security right in the instrument covers also the right embodied in the instrument.
(3)
Possession of a negotiable document of title or a negotiable instrument is regarded as possession of the goods covered by the document of title or the right embodied in the instrument.
