Article 7 Protection of the premises of the Court and their vicinity

The competent authorities shall take all effective and adequate measures to ensure the security and protection of the Court and to ensure that the tranquility of the Court is not disturbed by the intrusion of persons or groups from outside the premises of the Court or by disturbances in their immediate vicinity, and shall provide to the premises of the Court the appropriate protection as may be required.

If so requested by the Registrar, the competent authorities shall provide adequate police force necessary for the preservation of law and order on the premises of the Court or in the immediate vicinity thereof, and for the removal of persons therefrom.

The competent authorities shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the amenities of the premises of the Court are not prejudiced and that the purposes for which the premises are required are not obstructed by any use made of the land or buildings in the vicinity of the premises.
