The insurer shall not ask the applicant, the policyholder or the person at risk to undergo a genetic test or to disclose the results of such a test, nor shall such information be used by the insurer for the purpose of rating risks.

(2)

Para. 1 does not apply to personal insurance where the person at risk is 18 years of age or more and the sum insured for this person exceeds EUR 300,000 or the money payable under the policy exceeds EUR 30,000 per year.
