Without being subject to any financial controls, regulations, notification requirements in respect of financial transactions, or moratoria of any kind, the Tribunal may freely:
- a)
purchase any currency, hold and use it;
- b)
operate accounts in any currency;
- c)
purchase, hold and use funds, securities and gold; and
- d)
transfer its funds, securities, gold and currencies to or from the host State, to or from any other country, or within the host State and convert any currency held by it in any other currency.
2.
The Tribunal shall enjoy treatment not less favourable than that accorded by the host State to any intergovernmental organization or diplomatic mission in respect of rates of exchange for its financial transactions.
