If an activity has definitely and irreversibly led the victim to suffer damage, a subsequent activity which alone would have caused the same damage is to be disregarded.
(2)
A subsequent activity is nevertheless taken into consideration if it has led to additional or aggravated damage.
(3)
If the first activity has caused continuing damage and the subsequent activity later on also would have caused it, both activities are regarded as a cause of that continuing damage from that time on.
