1. [Obligation to Comply with the Paris Convention]

Each Contracting Party shall comply with the provisions of the Paris Convention which concern patents.

2. [Obligations and Rights Under the Paris Convention]

a)

Nothing in this Treaty shall derogate from obligations that Contracting Parties have to each other under the Paris Convention.

b)

Nothing in this Treaty shall derogate from rights that applicants and owners enjoy under the Paris Convention.
