1.

Any Contracting Party may withdraw from this Protocol at any time after the expiry of two years from the date on which this Protocol enters into force for that Contracting Party.

2.

Withdrawal shall be effected by the deposit of an instrument of withdrawal with the Secretary-General.

3.

A withdrawal shall take effect one year after receipt by the Secretary-General of the instrument of withdrawal or such longer period as may be specified in that instrument.
