The institutions or Government departments administering the medical care shall co-operate, wherever appropriate, with the general vocational rehabilitation services, with a view to the re-establishment of handicapped persons in suitable work.

2.

National laws or regulations may authorise such institutions or departments to ensure provision for the vocational rehabilitation of handicapped persons.
