The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria presents its compliments to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sofia and has the honour to acknowledge the receipt of its Note of 29 March 1996 which reads as follows:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria has the honour to inform the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sofia, that the proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, and to express its consent, the above quoted Note and this affirmative reply to constitute an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for extension of the application of the European Convention on Extradition of 13 December 1957 to the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, as provided for in Article 27 paragraph 4 of the Convention, which shall enter into force on the first day of the third month following the date on which the Embassy receives this note.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sofia the assurances of its highest consideration.
