This Chapter applies to the external relationships created by acts of representation — that is to say, the relationships between:

(a)

the principal and the third party; and

(b)

the representative and the third party.

It applies also to situations where a person purports to be a representative without actually being a representative.

(3)

It does not apply to the internal relationship between the representative and the principal.
