Each Member for which this Convention is in force undertakes to maintain, within its jurisdiction, appropriate medical services responsible for—

(a)

ascertaining, where necessary, both at the time of departure and on arrival, that migrants for employment and the members of their families authorised to accompany or join them are in reasonable health;

(b)

ensuring that migrants for employment and members of their families enjoy adequate medical attention and good hygienic conditions at the time of departure, during the journey and on arrival in the territory of destination.
