The principal may terminate the mandate relationship at any time by giving notice of reasonable length if the mandate contract has been concluded for an indefinite period or for a particular task.
(2)
Paragraph (1) does not apply if the mandate is irrevocable.
(3)
The parties may not, to the detriment of the principal, exclude the application of this Article or derogate from or vary its effects, unless the conditions set out under IV. D. — 1:105 (Irrevocable mandate) are met.
