If the insured risk exists neither at the time of conclusion of the contract nor at any time during the insurance period, no premium shall be due. However, the insurer shall be entitled to a reasonable sum for expenses incurred.

(2)

If the insured risk ceases to exist during the insurance period, the contract shall be deemed to have been terminated at the time that the insurer is notified thereof.
