6 | Bekrachtiging door het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden onder de volgende verklaringen:

Wat betreft het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, geldt de Overeenkomst, die vanaf 13-04-1992 alleen voor het Europese deel van Nederland gold, vanaf 10-10-2010 ook voor het Caribische deel van Nederland. Het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden heeft op 28-09-2010 de volgende verklaring afgelegd: The Kingdom of the Netherlands currently consists of three parts : the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. The Netherlands Antilles consists of the islands of Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. With effect from 10 October 2010, the Netherlands Antilles will cease to exist as a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. From that date onwards, the Kingom will consist of four parts: the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. Curaçao and Sint Maarten will enjoy internal self-government within the Kingdom, as Aruba and, up to 10 October 2010, the Netherlands Antilles do. These changes constitute a modification of the internal constitutional relations within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Kingdom of the Netherlands will accodingly remain the subject of international law with which agreements are concluded. The modification of the structure of the Kingdom will therefore not affect the validity of the international agreements ratified by the Kingdom for the Netherlands Antilles: these agreements, including any reservations made, will continue to apply to Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The other islands that have until now formed part of the Netherlands Antilles - Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba - will become parts of the Netherlands, thus constituting ‘the Caribbean part of the Netherlands’. The agreements that now apply to the Netherlands Antilles will also continue to apply to these islands; however, the Government of the Netherlands will now be responsible for implementing these agreements. 7 | Bekrachtiging door Zwitserland onder de volgende voorbehouden: Conformément à l'article 8, la Suisse désigne les autorités cantonales énumérées à l'annexe en tant qu'autorités centrales réceptrices et expéditrices au sens de l'article 2 de la Convention. Les demandes émanant de l'étranger pourront également être adressées au Département fédéral de justice et police à Berne, qui se chargera de les transmettre aux autorités centrales compétentes. Dans la mesure où l'assistance judiciaire concerne des procédures qui, en raison des règles de compétence interne ou de la succession interne d'instances, doivent se dérouler devant les autorités fédérales, le Département fédéral de justice et police transmet les demandes y relatives aux autorités fédérales compétentes. Si de telles demandes sont présentées aux autorités centrales cantonales, celles-ci les transmettent d'office au Département fédéral de justice et police. Conformément aux articles 13 et 14, la Suisse déclare que, s'agissant de l'article 6, la demande d'assistance judiciaire et ses annexes doivent être rédigées dans la langue de l'autorité requise, c'est-à-dire en langue allemande, française ou italienne, ou accompagnées d'une traduction dans l'une de ces langues, en fonction de la région de Suisse dans laquelle la demande doit être exécutée (cf. annexe). Les pièces rédigées dans une autre langue que celle de l'autorité requise, ou accompagnées d'une traduction dans une autre langue, peuvent être refusées dans tous les cas. In accordance with Articles 13 and 14, Switzerland declares that for the purposes of Article 6 the application for legal aid and the appendices thereto must be drawn up in the language of the authority to which the application is made, that is in German, French or Italian, or accompanied by a translation in one of those languages, according to the part of Switzerland where the application is to be executed. Documents drawn up in another language than that of the aforesaid authority or accompanied by a translation in another language may always be refused.
