The central registration authorities shall take the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data in the context of the Treaty.

In particular measures shall be taken to

(i)

prevent unauthorised persons gaining access to the data processing equipment;

(ii)

prevent Information from being read, copied, amended or deleted by unauthorised persons;

(iii)

prevent unauthorised interrogation or transmission of information;

(iv)

prevent unauthorised reading or copying of information during transmission.
