(a)
Any Contracting Party may take such measures as it deems necessary to provide for an increase in the amount of compensation specified in this Convention.
b)
In so far as compensation for nuclear damage is in excess of the 700 million euro referred to in Article 7 a), any such measure in whatever form may be applied under conditions which may derogate from the provisions of this Convention.
