Where the debtor has, whether voluntarily or in compliance with an order under III. — 3:302 (Enforcement of non-monetary obligations), remedied a non-conforming performance by replacement, the debtor has a right and an obligation to take back the replaced item at the debtor's expense.

The creditor is not liable to pay for any use made of the replaced item in the period prior to the replacement.
