1. Introduction
October 31st 2019 has passed. The prospect of a no-deal Brexit is still looming. The impact is as yet difficult to assess. The so-called Operation Yellowhammer document2 revealed that the UK is expecting massive transport disruption, passenger delays, disruption of medicine supply (also for veterinary use, bearing the risk of disease outbreaks), tariffs on UK petrol basically terminating fuel exports to the EU3 and significant energy price rises, to mention a few effects.
